You may need to remove the guide pin or drill a hole in the switch connector in some models for this to fit. This is normally required for 1968-1969 models. Please compare connector positions to yours before purchasing. Keep in mind that if your switch was ever rebuilt previously, the base can look different or be upside down, but the pins on the connector would be in the correct position.
